Location
Description
Water is becoming an increasingly scarce resource in many parts of the United States, as well as in many parts of the world. FTE's Uncharted Waters seminar will examine the economic and environmental concepts that are linked to debates about water use today. Supply and demand, marginal analysis, property rights, the Tragedy of the Commons, and other economics themes will be covered within this multi-disciplinary topic. A combination of lectures and hands-on activities will provide educators with the resources to be able to discuss water use and current events in their economics, government, and environmental science classrooms.
