Description
Join MCEE for a webinar exploring the economic geography of Maryland, presented by Dr. Daraius Irani, Vice President of Business and Public Engagement at Towson University, and Dr. Melissa Groves, Economics Chair and Associate Professor at Towson University. This session examines the distinct economic drivers shaping Western Maryland, the Eastern Shore, Southern Maryland, and the Baltimore-DC corridor, highlighting how geography, industry, and regional resources combine to create Maryland's diverse economic landscape. Educators will gain a richer understanding of the state's regional economies to help students connect classroom economic concepts to the real communities and industries around them.
